Lifecycle’s Campus Expansion Campaign Brings Growth, Change, and New Opportunities

Despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic, Lifecycle continued to grow and thrive. More people began to seek out an intimate space for empowered healthcare. Soon, it became clear that the practice was outgrowing its main office building in Bryn Mawr.

Serendipitously, last spring, the opportunity arose to purchase the building directly next door. Thus, Lifecycle’s Campus Expansion Campaign was born!

This new space will allow Lifecycle to serve the community in new ways by:

  • Expanding care options with more clinical staff
  • Offering NEW mental health counseling
  • Growing educational programs and support groups

In order to accommodate these exciting additions, a goal was set to raise $600,000.

Nearly a year later, thanks to generous donations from more than 300 members of the Lifecycle community, that goal has been surpassed. In the next newsletter, we will be featuring some of our major donors and their reasons for supporting the campaign.

We could not be more thankful and more humbled by your gifts, enthusiasm, and support of this campaign and Lifecycle’s mission.

Excitingly, renovations on the third floor are already complete. Clients and staff alike have been enjoying the new exam rooms, lactation suite, and clinical office. In the near future, a licensed Social Worker will be joining the crew on the third floor.

Next up, it’s time to transform the new building!

Construction is slated to begin in May, culminating with the grand opening of Lifecycle’s brand new Education and Training Center (and the triumphant return to in-person classes!) to follow by September. The Education and Training Center will give Lifecycle the opportunity to expand and diversify our educational offerings, including the addition of:

  • Daytime classes and workshops
  • Parent and Me classes
  • Clinical trainings for local midwifery and nursing students
  • Workshops, support groups, and trainings for local birthworkers

Thank you to everyone who supported the Campus Expansion Campaign, helping Lifecycle bring personalized, relationship-based care to more people!
