Childbirth Refresher
This one-session class is for parents who have already experienced childbirth, but would like a chance to refresh their memories.
Review of the process of labor and recognizing when it starts will be covered, as well as an overview of pain-coping techniques, birth center and hospital policies/protocols/procedures, hospital transfer (if applicable), and the immediate postpartum period. Sibling adjustment will also be briefly discussed. In addition to review, this class provides an opportunity to connect with other parents, provide and receive encouragement and inspiration, ask questions, solicit advice, and offer suggestions.
Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement.
