The Power and Beauty of Labor: Danielle’s Birth Story

Birth is exquisitely beautiful, and immensely powerful, which Danielle wonderfully demonstrates in her birth story. My birth experience at Lifecycle was the most beautiful experience of my life. I was surrounded by a team of woman warriors who kept to my birth plan fully. The reassurance and guidance through delivery was exactly what I needed to feel empowered and capable of doing the birth thing without the assistance of any type of pain management. Listening to my body without letting fear take over, as well as focusing on my breaths being deep through every contraction were key.

They didn’t just make the placenta disappear or feel bothered when I asked to see it. Autumn gave me a magnificent, super detailed tour and explained exactly how it worked. My mom and I were surprised at all the info we had no clue about. (I made placenta prints with it then had a gathering and planted it in my grandfathers backyard with an apple tree)
