Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting (MBCP)

New 9-Week class series begins Sunday, March 4th!

Having a baby is one of the most transformative and meaningful experiences in a person’s life. The benefits of mindfulness (the awareness that comes from learning to pay attention in the present moment, on purpose and non-judgmentally) can help us navigate this important event, as well as prepare us for a lifetime of parenting.

Based on Jon Kabat Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction curriculum, this class, developed by an MBSR teacher and midwife, Nancy Bardacke, will provide you with skills for the mind and body to support you and your partner as your unique pregnancy and birth unfold, moment by moment.

MBCP is open to everyone, both LWC and non-LWC clients. Please feel free to spread the word!

Diastasis Recti Info Session

+ follow-up

Core Restore 4-Week Series

Still have a belly pooch months (or even years!) after pregnancy? Have dreams of having a flat belly again? It’s NEVER too late to close the gap!

Diastasis Recti is the separation of the rectus abdominis muscles (the outer layer of abdominal muscles that form the “6-pack”). Diastasis Recti is very common during pregnancy and the postnatal period. The abdominal muscles naturally stretch during pregnancy to accommodate your growing baby, but, due to many factors, the muscles may not fully close on their own after birth.

This Info Session is great for pregnant women, postnatal women, and birth professionals who would like to learn techniques to help their clients.

The follow-up 4-Week Series is great for postnatal women (whether you gave birth recently or YEARS ago!).

This Info Session and 4-Week series are open to everyone, both LWC and non-LWC clients. Please feel free to spread the word!

Returning to LWC in the spring! Stay tuned for dates!
