Cesarean Healing Circle

(Artist credit: Spirit Y Sol)

Wednesday, December 1st

We will meet online via Zoom!

Advanced, online registration is required.

The Cesarean Healing Circle provides a safe place for people who have given birth via cesarean to share stories, begin healing, remove emotional scars, and celebrate themselves. Participants will find common ground while sharing their unique birth stories in a small group setting that is supportive and understanding.

The circle will have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 participants, plus the facilitator who also gave birth by cesarean section. The small group size allows for open sharing and creating connections and understanding.

“Having delivered twice at The Birth Center at LWC, I couldn’t be happier with my experiences. I felt so cared for and safe there. Welcoming, comforting, trustworthy—the combination of the homey feel I wanted with professional, experienced midwives and nurses let me relax, knowing I was in good hands. The midwives, always there when we needed them, also seemed to know just when to give us space. When pushing became difficult during my second birth, the midwife quickly assessed the situation and helped me get things back on track. I can’t imagine birthing anywhere else.”

Says Kiera, “I love our team of brilliant, compassionate providers who continuously go above and beyond for our clients.” When she’s not working at LWC, Kiera loves hiking with her partner, John, daughter, Emma, and dog, Toby.
