Lactation and New Parent Support Groups will meet online via Zoom until it is safe for us to convene in person again. Please email email@example.com for Zoom login information.
Come together with other lactating parents and their nurslings to discuss the joys and challenges of breastfeeding/chestfeedding a baby. Provide and receive encouragement and inspiration as we share, ask questions, solicit advice, and offer suggestions. Nikki Graham, doula, childbirth and lactation educator, mom of four, and Director of Programs and Community Engagement at LWC, will be on hand to provide professional support and guidance. Whether you had (or are planning to have) your baby at The Birth Center at Lifecycle WomanCare, or elsewhere, you are welcome to join us!
Our Rosemont Lactation Support Group meets from 10 am to 12 pm, every other Thursday.
Meetings are free!
There is no need to register or RSVP.
A scale will be available for infant weight checks.
We will meet in the Rosemont Plaza apartment building (1062 Lancaster Ave, Bryn Mawr), conference room #20 (first floor, to the left once you pass the office near the front entrance).
Parking is free and plentiful (although you will likely need to park toward the back of the complex).
“Having delivered twice at The Birth Center at LWC, I couldn’t be happier with my experiences. I felt so cared for and safe there. Welcoming, comforting, trustworthy—the combination of the homey feel I wanted with professional, experienced midwives and nurses let me relax, knowing I was in good hands. The midwives, always there when we needed them, also seemed to know just when to give us space. When pushing became difficult during my second birth, the midwife quickly assessed the situation and helped me get things back on track. I can’t imagine birthing anywhere else.”
