Are you ready to start feeding your baby solid foods, but the thought of spending hours in the kitchen preparing purees only to have your baby spit it all back out gives you anxiety?
Imagine being able to feed your baby exactly what you are eating, not having to prepare numerous meals or tote around special snacks. Imagine relaxed meal times with your family where food is used to educate and build strong, confident eaters.
In this 90-minute class, I will demonstrate how to successfully and safely introduce your baby to solid foods. We will focus on how and why to use the “Baby Led Weaning” approach as well as signs your baby is ready, the best starter foods and how to prepare them, and tips on making family mealtimes fun and enjoyable! You will leave knowing how to safely implement the Baby Led Weaning (BLW) approach, and confidently guide your baby toward becoming a happy and healthy eater! You’ll also get to sample delicious, nutritious foods!
“Having delivered twice at The Birth Center at LWC, I couldn’t be happier with my experiences. I felt so cared for and safe there. Welcoming, comforting, trustworthy—the combination of the homey feel I wanted with professional, experienced midwives and nurses let me relax, knowing I was in good hands. The midwives, always there when we needed them, also seemed to know just when to give us space. When pushing became difficult during my second birth, the midwife quickly assessed the situation and helped me get things back on track. I can’t imagine birthing anywhere else.”
