Lifecycle WomanCare’s Baby Boom Summer

They say when it rains, it pours. Nothing could be truer when it comes to the baby storm that happened at Lifecycle WomanCare this summer.

A record breaking month: July 2019 by the numbers

Babies born: 65 (a record breaking number of births!)
Well-woman appointments: 79
Lactation appointments: 81 (a record breaking number of visits!)
Retired midwife cameos: 1

At LWC we have a tradition of welcoming back our superstar staff members when we need them most. This time around it was the incomparable Gazelle who jumped back in to offer support. Gazelle breezed in with her signature smile and helped to support quite a few births during her two weeks back on staff as a midwife.

A huge thank you to our clinicians, clin-techs, front office support staff, and all of those behind the scenes at LWC who helped things run smoothly during one of our hottest months on record. The only people working harder than our staff are the birthing individuals themselves. Congrats to all of the new families!
